IHG award night discount: Get 15% off award stays
Editor’s Note
This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.
The popular award discount from IHG One Rewards is back, offering members with a Chase IHG One Rewards credit card 15% off award stays of up to three nights. Cardholders must book by Saturday and check in by June 10 for this discount.
I have the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card. When I log in to my account, search for an eligible award and select a hotel, I see a message stating, “As a cardmember, you are eligible for a 15% discount on Reward Nights.”
Eligible IHG cardholders can get a 15% discount on reward nights when booking stays of up to three consecutive nights by Saturday. These members must log in to their IHG One Rewards account, book award stays of up to three nights at participating hotels and start their stay by June 10 to be eligible for the discount.
IHG is also discounting the cash portion of points-and-cash awards.
You don’t need to register for the promotion or do anything special to get the discount if you’re an eligible member — log in to your IHG account and search for award nights as you usually would.
Since this promotion is only for award stays of up to three nights, it isn’t stackable with the fourth-night reward offered as a benefit on the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card and IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card.

If you’re eligible for this promotion, check award rates and consider rebooking if you have IHG stays booked during the stay period. It doesn’t hurt to check your other IHG stays as well since award rates may have decreased since you booked due to IHG’s use of dynamic pricing.

Bottom line
If you have a stay of up to three nights coming up with IHG and are eligible for this sale, check if the 15% discount changes your calculations on booking a paid stay or redeeming IHG points.
If you need to earn more IHG points, remember that you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points and Bilt Rewards points to IHG. But, depending on how you value these currencies, you may be better off buying the IHG points you need.
